Had a fantastic week end in mid September in Paris with one of my oldest friends. With just a camera on my back I experimented quite a lot with my speedlight. Lots of fun and many good pictures!

On very short notice I got the opportunity to shoot this great wedding couple close to Djurgården in Stockholm last week. We had a good hour to spend together and although we had to cope with very bright sunlight that day we managed to get quite a few decent shots. I made a test of the new Profoto equipment the other day. What a joy! Very simple to set up and mount. Also, excellent build quality of both monolights, reflectors and soft boxes. I’m really pleased with this equipment so there will definitely be more to come …

The Swedish Kata Trophy event at Eriksdalshallen in Stockholm is fantastic to follow from a near distance. Kids from all over Europe gather to compete in kata and represent their local clubs. Here Yorokobi Karate Club from Stockholm (style Wadoryu) winning several medals in both kata single as well as in team kata.

The very last day of the vacation we took a hike up to the woods overlooking the sea and enjoyed the warm winds coming from Africa and a beautiful sun set.

Zorro, our family dog, came along in the cabin when flying to Alicante. He loved running like crazy on the beach, met a lot of other dogs and explored many interesting scents in this new country!

After a very rainy and dark winter we decided to spend a week end of February in Spain. Although not too hot this early of year the bright days and temperatures in the low twenties did us all very good. Here, a morning photo at the beach.
